San Francisco - The AGBU Young Professionals of Northern California's "Saturday in the Park" was held on August 2nd at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.

Before the picnic, a group of brave bike riders toured the park working up a hearty appetite. The group rode past the park's herd of bison, the polo fields, a 1912 carousel, Stow Lake and the conservatory of flowers.

With picture perfect weather, over 40 guests gathered and enjoyed the afternoon of food, sports and fun. In addition to tavloo, the newly purchased "YP" volleyball set drew players of all skills to the field.

The event was very successful and encouraging, with almost 20 new faces coming out for their first YP event! The picnic continued until the net was brought down as dusk approached and plans are already under way for next summer!
