2010 AGBU-YPNC Winter Gala a Smashing Success!

Once again, thank you for attending and supporting the 10th Annual Winter Gala Getaway Weekend hosted by the AGBU Young Professionals of Northern California. A portion of the proceeds from the successful AGBU San Francisco Gala 2010 "Toast to the Good Life" was donated to the new Pan-YP Environmental Project in Khachik, Armenia. The YP Northern California is proud to be the first chapter within the worldwide AGBU YP network to adopt this charity.

About the AGBU YP Environmental Project:

The AGBU YP Environmental Project, designed and implemented by the worldwide Young Professionals Network, will create a park in Khachik, Armenia a boarder village several hours from Yerevan. The new park will provide a beautiful environment for residents to enjoy and also serve as a site where they can sell produce without middlemen. Boarder villages are vulnerable in the region, and it's our intent to reinforce Khachik in part to ensure the sovereignty of Armenia's boarder. For more information visit the Khachik website.
