The highlight of the fundraiser weekend is the Winter Gala that was held Saturday night at the Julia Morgan Ballroom. Fr. Sarkis Petoyan of St. John Armenian Apostolic Church of San Francisco began the evening with a blessing. Annette Kevranian, Chairperson of the Winter Gala, welcomed the guests and announced all the cities guests had traveled from for the weekend. With much anticipation, Annette introduced Khachig Jingirian to get the party started! Not even a moment was spared as Khachig began his non-stop evening of Armenian favorites that immediately filled the dance floor. After an encore performance by Khachig, over 100 guests moved to a private room at the Westin Saint Francis to have pizza and drinks, and continue the party until the early hours of the morning.
